A dissemination meeting focused on the health benefits of the Mediterranean diet was held last 10th of July 2023 in the city of Tekirdağ (Turkey).
Prof. Metin Güldaş, project manager from the Bursa Uludag University, participated in the meeting and discussed the positive and negative factors affecting the adherence of society to the Mediterranean diet. During the event, the findings of the PRIMA SWITCHtoHEALTHY project, particularly the ones from Work Package 1 (“Consumer science and co-creation”), were illustrated and the importance of the Mediterranean diet in promoting sustainable and healthy lifestyles for people in every region of the country was highlighted.
The meeting took place in the Meeting Hall of Namik Kemal University – Agricultural Faculty and was jointly organized by the partners BUU and KOC from Turkey. Many academicians and researchers working on healthy diet patterns attended the event.
