In an effort to promote the Mediterranean food model among teenagers, SWITCHtoHEALTHY recently joined forces with a group of adolescents and educators in Barcelona, Spain. During the co-creation session held on February 22, participants shared valuable insights on motivating factors for embracing healthy eating habits. Led by researchers from the EURECAT Nutrition and Health Unit, the two-hour Focus Group was able to generate interesting and innovative ideas. These fresh perspectives will shape upcoming educational initiatives, scheduled in September 2024, aimed at encouraging adherence to the Mediterranean diet among families and adolescents.
