On February 22, an engaging workshop was held at the “Maddaloni 2 – Valle” School to promote the SWITCHtoHEALTHY project among teachers, along with the initiatives “Create your commercial …for a correct diet” and “Open Farms 2024”. The workshop, attended by approximately thirty teachers, was introduced by the school director Rosa Suppa. Successively, Franz Martinelli, from the Italian branch of the Slow Food Tebourba Association, Paola Sarcina, cultural organizer of the Slow Food Tebourba Association, and Antonio Tallarico, from Campania Region, reported on the project news and activities, moderated by Domenico Letizia, responsible for communication at Slow Food Tebourba Association.
The competition “Create your commercial …for a correct diet”, through the development of short videos made by students, intends to highlight the benefits of the Mediterranean Diet among children and adolescents. The initiative “Open Farms”, that will take place in Campania on the 11th of May 2024, will see the Educational Farms of Campania hosting citizens and students for free, delivering educational courses and workshops on agriculture and healthy eating.
