It is going to be a busy month for the SWITCHtoHEALTHY project. A lot of activities are already planned, specifically in Italy with Regione Campania and Lebanon with Consumers Lebanon Association.
In Italy the project will be showcased at three agri-food fairs and will also be presented to students and educators during the event “Open Farms” in Portici (Naples, Campania) with an interactive workshop focusing on the project methodology.
Meanwhile, in Lebanon, three workshops are set to kick off next week in schools across Beirut and Békaa. These activities, organized in partnership with the Ministry of Education, aim to raise awareness about the Mediterranean Diet and discuss findings from the recent survey conducted by Consumers Lebanon.
Here’s a glimpse into the planned events:
- 4-6 May: The project kicks off with a presence at the “OLIVITALYMED Fair of Olive Oils and Mediterranean agrifood products” in Lustra Cilento (Campania, Italy)
- 7-8 May: In Lebanon, awareness actions will unfold in schools, involving 250 students across College Al Fakiha Békaa, Omar Al Unsi School Beirut, and Omar Fakhoury School Beirut. These initiatives aim to instill the importance of healthy eating habits.
- 7-10 May: SWITCHtoHEALTHY will be introduced at the prestigious international fair “Cibus” in Parma (Italy).
